Dear Mr Santiago Baca

Dear Mr Santiago Ba-ca

I am writing to you to ask you  a few things about your life . You have gone through very tough moments through your life and i would like to know how you felt at those particular moments.

My name is Ramez Hefzalla, a thirteen year old who goes to London nautical school in central London. I came across your poetry in my English class .I was reading immigrants in our own land and it interested me how the prison guards took every think away from you and you still  found  a way to be happy. I would like to know more.

My first question is what was your childhood like.I Have been told that you had a very rough childhood. sorry if i am being rood but how did you run away from the orphanage . It is amazing that you did not need your parents to be successful.

how does Sherman Alexei present the character of jr as a outsider.

In the book Sherman Alexis book ‘the absolutely true diary of a part time Indian’ Jr the protagonist, is arguably the most important character. Sherman Alexei uses the character of Jr to express events which Sherman had experienced when he was younger and to explore the theme of being an outsider in many situations. In this essay I will talk about five major events .

Sherman Alexi published his book an absolutely true diary of a part time Indian in 2008 . It is about Jr ,a teenage boy living in poverty and trying to make his life better by going to a all white school . When Jr entered rear den ( all white school) for the first time all the white students looked and stared. ” they stared at me like I was a Bigfoot or ufo”. This suggests that the white kids have never seen a Indian in there life and looked at him like he was a monster.

After , he had left his old school(WellPennit) to go to rear den to find a future but the students at wellpenit thought otherwise the students at wellpenit thought that Jr had left to change into a white person. therefore he is an  “APPLE red on the outside and white on the inside” .

another reason why he could be classified as a outsider is that his name in rearden different than every one else in the school. jr was not a ordinary name for a white boy so when the students at rearden heard it they laughed at him . Later then did they find out that his real name was Arnold and Jr was his name on the res.

jr having ten extra teeth also tells us that even in his  physical and visual attributes are not the same as any ordinary humans.”i was born with water on the brain ” . this quote from  Jr  suggests that he is different than everyone else and never be the same .

after he had left the res he had lost all of his friends on the res . this made him have no friends on the the res or of the res his life was very lonely and only had his family.even at one point his family thought he was crazy for leaving Wellpenit and going to Rearden (the best school in the state and the most luxurious with the richest children)

this quote also shows that Jr is an outsider. ‘and that is when they found out i was a poor ass Indian.’ Jr is even a outsider in financial ways. After Jr and Penelope (Jr’s half girlfriend)  had finished the prom, Roger had taken them to a diner to go and eat pancakes. Jr did not want to go because he new if he went with them they would find out he was poor . after Penelope had persuaded him to go,     at that moment he new they were going to find out that he was a poor ass Indian . at the bar Jr was the only person who only got one plate of pancakes . this tells us that Jr is an outsider even in financially.

in conclusion, Jr is an outsider in a lot of ways.Sherman Alexei has been very successful and the message he is trying is that if you think you are an outsider it is not just you that is one and that he been through the same grief as them.

Autobiography about how I grew up.

My name is Ramez and I am 12 years old.I was born in 2003 September 5 at St Thomas’ Hospital.

My mum and dad had argued about my name. My dad wanted Ramez, which means respected and honour. and my mum wanted my name to be Alaa ment nobility and exellence. So my mum and dad had a talk and called me Ramez.

After 5 years, my brother was born. They called him Amir. My sister was born at 1996 at Guys hospital. He turned out to become a very good goalkeeper. He plays a year up and lots of clubs around England know him for his goalkeeping skills.

I had a rough 7 years in my old house in Tower bridge. I was bullied by people older than me; they would  throw rocks at me and. Throw eggs at my door.I didn’t like any neither did my family. Once my mum had have enough and went to their house and tried to talk with their mother. There mother  had pulled out a knife and stabbed my mum in the womb wile my brother was in there. Finally we had moved houses and I liked my new .I had made new friends. I REALLY liked it the area was nice and every one was friendly.

I joined a football team called Bruin . They helped me develop my football skills and got me into Charlton FC. At the time my mum had my brother in her womb. We had to travel 1 hour to get to training. So my mum stped me from going. I played for other academys but let for other different reasons.

the school that I went to was called Charles Dickens primary school. It was the first school to open in borough . I was very popular and I had a good reputation.I liked it until the head teacher was changed in year 6. Mrs Buchannan had changed  most of the rules and made the school boring. Her name was Mrs Buchannan.

Every year me and my family have a tradition where we travel to Morocco via car. We drive to Dover , catching a ferry to Calais (France) which we then drive through France and into Spain. Once we reach the south of Spain we catch another ferry from Algeciras to Morocco. I really enjoy this experience because we learn new things every year about other people’s traditions. For an example in Spain after 5 pm everybody goes to sleep, and they call that a ‘siesta’.Last year when we went to morocco we visited a city called Agadir and stayed in a hotel called Agador. This was by far the most fun experience I ever had. The hotel had more than 5 swimming pools and it had a private beach. I also met some English friends in the hotel which made the holiday more fun.

This year I went to Butlins to play a football tournament . They had a big arcade and I spent most of my time there spending lots of money. We had our own apartment . The best thing about Butlins is that you meet lots of people and make new friends. That was my autobiography . What about yours?

amazing game

we were playing a game that was first person . the only bad thing about this game is that if you add to much things into your server it will glitch. But I really like it.
